NFTY-SW Social Action Weekend

February 25 - 28, 2016
8:00 pm - 10:00 am

Tikkun Olam is Hebrew for repairing the world. In the words of the Beatles, "We all want to change the world". NFTY Southwest is giving YOU the perfect opportunity to make that change. Come Join NFTY Southwest during Social Action Weekend in Arizona. We will spend an incredible weekend filled with tikkun olam and social action. Not only will we be having our annual Camp Swift carnival for underprivileged children, but we will get to participate in several other social action programs and activities. If you want a weekend of fun, friends and Judaism, NFTY Southwest's Social Action Weekend is the place for you. Can't wait to see you there!

For the first time we are offering a one day option for people who are not quite ready to commit to a full weekend event.

There are 2 options:

Friday, February 26 - Join us for a variety of service projects throughout Phoenix! Each participant will be assigned to help in 1-2 projects throughout the Phoenix area. You will be sent a survey to let us know your preferences for projects before the event. Drop off is at 9:00 am at Temple Chai, pick up is at 4:00 pm at the same location.

Saturday, February 27 - Join us for the Camp Swift Carnival! Teens who choose this option can join us for Shabbat morning services before helping us with the carnival for the day. Teens in this project will help run booths at the carnival or help chaperone elementary school students as they explore the carnival. Location TBA! You must have your own transportation to/from the carnival location. Drop off is at 9:00 am, pick up is at 4:00 pm at the same location.
